You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and we depart from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve by road Located at Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful witits arid savannahs watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebras,Beisa Oryx’s, Gerenuk gazelle and Greater and lesser kudu. You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at the lodge, few minutes’ leisure then you proceed with the first thrilling game drive at the Reserve till sunsets then back to the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today we explore Samburu Reserve for full day game viewing drives.
The Samburu region is the best place to find several endemic Northern species, including Gerenuk, the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich and Oryx. The forests along the river banks are home to many birds, including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture and the Vinaceous Dove. These forests are also home to many Leopards, often seen at dusk. The sight of one of these beautiful and elusive creatures is always a rare treat. Lions are also frequently seen on the riverbanks, and cheetahs can be found on the open plains. On rare occasions, packs of African Hunting Dogs are sighted passing through the reserve. An early morning transfer to Aberdare National Park. The drive is scenic via the central Kenya highlands with stops to view tea and coffee plantations. There shall be a further stop to see and experience the largest open-air market in East Africa at Karatina. Aberdare National Park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or Lodge.

After breakfast, we depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the rift valley’s famous Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes and its alkaline, it’s recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.Dinner and overnight at  hotel  or Lodge.

An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, which holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.Dinner and overnight at Camp or Lodge.

After breakfast, we have a full-day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife, and it’s one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

After Breakfast game drive at Hell’s Gate National Park. Arrive at Hell’s Gate National Park after anhour’s drive. Once at the Park, you have the option of a game drive in a Safari vehicle or take bikes intothe Park. Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 Kilometers beforeresting at a ranger’s post. After a brief stop at the ranger’s post, you leave the bike and start a walkingsafari (optional) for 3 hrs. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. The park provides a variety ofwildlife, unusual flora, and many species of birds and is the only Kenyan Park where climbing, walking,and biking are allowed. Animals are seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests,Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys andPorcupines amongst others. later drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with abackdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arriving late evening for dinner and overnight at the camp or Lodge.

We will visit the olcanic formations (Shetani Lava Flow) as well as Mzima Springs where Hippos, Fish andCrocodiles are seen from the underwater hide and later proceed to Ngulia Safari lodge for check- inas well for late lunch around 3 pm. Our afternoon game drive will begin Dinner and Overnight at camp or Lodge.

Have an early morning game drive then drive back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, checkout with a short game drive en-route to Tsavo East National Park, a drive of 2 hours. The park formsthe largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenukand the prolific birdlife features 500 recorded species. It’s also home to the famous man eating lions.You’ll arrive with game en-route to the Lodge. Check in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, haveanother game drive at the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at camp or Lodge.
